The Cat Cuddle Café is Australia’s first Cat Café run by a rescue. Established by Pussies Galore Rescue, we have created a wonderful space for cat lovers to enjoy the company of our beautiful rescue cats.
With all the feline cuteness anyone could handle, we also offer guests a chance to cuddle with and potentially adopt felines in need of a good home.

Where are you located?
Our address is shop 2 – 4/160 Musgrave Rd, Red Hill. Red Hill in between Paddington and Kelvin Grove. We are only minutes from the city.

What about parking?
We only have 15 minute parking outside the shop so it is best to park either in Wellington Rd or Zigzag St. Be careful on event days for Suncorp stadium as the whole district is only 15 minute parking.
Is there any Public Transport?
If you are coming from the city, public transport is the best option. We are stop number 8 (Red Hill Shops) on Musgrave/Waterworks Rd. Busses 379 & 380 from Adelaide St, and 381 from Roma St stop here.
Do you have disability access?
We are in a basement with stairs going down. We are sorry that there is no disability access but if you tell us ahead of time we may be able to arrange for help to carry your wheelchairs and/or equipment down the stairs.
Do I need a booking?
Yes, please book to avoid disappointment in case the cafe is full or if there is a private function. We will endeavour to accommodate if we can if you arrive without one but we have limited numbers in the cat room at one time. If it is a last minute visit, you can call us to see if you can get in.
Can I just get coffee or do I need to visit the Cats?
We now have a café upstairs seperate from the cat room and garden. You can come and enjoy our scrumptious cakes, savoury snacks and coffees, sit down and relax and even have a browse through our gift shop. We also have an op-shop next door, all without the obligation to visit our Cuddle Stars.
Just by buying coffee at our cafe you are supporting our rescue. This also means that indulging in a sweet treat is guilt free so no need to hold back
How many cats will be at the cafe?
We often have up to 15 cats and kittens in the café. However, the number will always be changing as we have new arrivals and adoptions.
Are there age restrictions for children?
Yes, all children must be over the age of 7. This is to ensure the safety of your children and our cats.
Can I book for a birthday party, event or a group?
Certainly, we love parties. We can accommodate for many types of events. There are some rules and restrictions of course, but we are happy to talk to you about what you need and how we can host a pawsome party for you. Give us a call, or send us and email and we will send you our party info pack.
Is there a charge to see the cats?
Yes, it is $12.00 per person, per hour. Like all businesses we have high overheads and running costs. On top of that we are a rescue and caring for the Cuddle Stars and Foster Fluffs is expensive business.
What if I suffer from allergies?
There is a chemist only a few doors away to help with medication needs.
Once booked, do I need to bring a confirmation?
Just bring ID, we’ll have your name on our bookings.
Can I get a refund if I don’t end up coming?
48 hours notice is needed to refund or reschedule your booking. Unfortunately without this notice we are unable to refund your booking fee.
Can I get paid work at the café?
We have limited paid positions at the CCC but you might just be the person we need so drop in your resume, preferably in person.
Is there anything else to do while at the CCC?
The best Op-Shop in town is right next door and all proceeds from the sale of our goodies go toward saving the lives of our rescue animals.
In the upstairs cafe, we have a selection of board games for your amusement whilst drinking one of our barista made bevvies. We have a plethera or gorgeous cat themed merchandise in the cafe for your perusal.
Are the cats up for adoption?
A BIG YES. We are a true rescue and our sole purpose is to rescue and re-home as many cats as possible.
We are one of the first Cat Cafés in the world run by rescue cats. This means all of the cats that you meet in the cafe are up for adoption. It is always sad to say goodbye to one of our cuddle stars, but we know it means they have a wonderful furever home to go to. This also means that another cat can be rescued in it’s place. We all know how many cats are in need of a safe place to live.
Do you serve real coffee at the café?
Yes, we have trained baristas serving the finest organic, free trade coffee from Prestige Organic Coffee.
What sort of food do you serve at the café?
We have an amazing selection of delicious cakes, muffins, quiches, wraps and other savoury options available for purchase in our café. We also have great barista made coffees, cold drinks and a selection of juices. A selection of our cakes are gluten friendly.
All of our products are vegetarian, many of which are also vegan. We use cruelty free Barambah Organics milk and have a number of milk alternatives available.
How do I volunteer?
We are always needing volunteers at the CCC. Because we are a rescue, we need to keep our running cost to a minimum. That way we can spend more on rescuing more animals.
