Female Domestic Short Hair
Beautiful Chloe is looking for the perfect home to call her own. Chloe came into our care after her Dad (and lifelong companion) passed away.
She is 13 years old and has spent her entire life as an only cat. Understandably, She was quite timid at first and spent a lot of time hiding in the closet. As she has settled she spends more and more time out in the main room and will sit on the couch beside her foster Mum. She mostly likes to find a quiet spot to have a snooze.
Everything changes when it’s time to sleep. Nowadays, she takes herself to bed and is often waiting for her foster Mum. While happy with her own space during the day, this is not the case at night. She is quite insistent on head and chin scratches and will be in your face and head butting your hand until she gets her way. Once she is finished with being pet, she’ll curl up with you, either in the crook of your knee or stomach and purr like a motorboat until you fall asleep.
Chloe’s wonky ear is most likely the result of a long term ear infection. The infection has been treated and there are no ongoing concerns. She has had a full senior check, including blood tests and she is a very healthy senior. We also had Chloe seen by a veterinary ophthalmologist for her dilated pupils. There are no concerns, it is simply a decrease in her eye’s ability to control contract her pupil.
Chloe needs a home as the only pet, without children and with humans who will give her time and patience to settle. She would make an ideal companion for a retired person, looking for a furry friend to spoil.
