Male- Domestic Short Hair
Lew is the all-time, easy going cat/kitten. He loves people, loves other animals and loves to play. He is sweet, extremely polite and good natured.
Lew was rescued with 11 other kittens and learnt to take a back seat to the more striking looking kittens. His siblings and cousins were picked one by one and some in pairs, for adoption. Lew was always the first to greet the visitors with loud purring and smooches. Although all of the kittens were sweet, we all thought that Lew was the pick of the batch in purrsonality. We thought he must be waiting for very special humans who would see how beautiful he was, through and through.
Lew is still waiting for that/those special humans to find him. He has grown into a very big kitten and we know he will be a big booffer of a cat. Who wouldn’t want one of those?
Lew loves his fish on a stick toy above all things. After breakfast and a 20-minute nap to digest, he appears with his fish toy and expects his humans to play with him. It is just too adorable. After a good play, tummy rubs are in order.
Lew likes to follow the humans around the house and throw himself at their feet, tummy up. No matter how busy you are, that invitation is too hard to resist. The most surprising thing is that it is not a tummy trap! No claws tummy rub….is this a dream?
Lew has one dislike and that is thunderstorms. He is terrified of them. Growing up in a drought period, Lew did not get to experience much of the famous Queensland thunderstorms until he was over 6 months old. It was a shock to the system when the first one arrived. We had to spend time under the bed with him.
Lew would love another cat or kitten in his forever home. Because he loves everyone, he would soon bond with another kitty or cat friendly dog. He could also be adopted with one of his mates from the Rescue Rancho.
